Both the Sire and Bitch have impeccable working pedigrees, coming from long lines of Kennel Club Field Trial Champions (44 FTCH’s and 12 FTW’s between them over 5 generations) and have excellent DNA health/hip/elbow/eye tests.
These pups will not be affected by the genetic conditions of PRA, CNM, SD2, HNPK & EIC.

The Kennel Club Inbreeding Co-efficiency (COI) of breeding these 2 dogs together is 5.6%, whereas the breed average is 6.6% so this is well below the average, which is good. This is important to consider, and many people overlook this when searching for their puppy.

We take great pride in our dogs and the quality of the litters that we produce, namely strong healthy pups with a natural working ability that can be harnessed for working tests, and/or field trials, scent work, agility, or general obedience in an active family home.
All our dogs are ‘raw fed’ and provided with other foods necessary to ensure they are very healthy dogs. However the bitch during whelping has been fed Purina ProPlan puppy food in addition so if any future owner wishes to kibble feed their puppy they can without any issue.
These 2 dogs have fantastic temperaments.
The sire, FTCH Mitforton Oscar of Leadburn is a very strong handsome, intelligent working ‘fox red shade of yellow’ labrador. He has a very good frame and a lovely head, great muscle mass making him very fast. He has natural game finding ability; not needing to be handled too much when working. He is a very steady consistent good working dog in the field, yet he has a great “On/off switch” and shows he is an extremely loving dog.
His eyes are tested ‘Clear’ in all areas.

Our Bitch (Its Lady Trim of Callanace) is a very pretty ‘fox red shade of yellow’ working Labrador, who is gentle natured, calm, extremely friendly, athletic, and intelligent. She comes from a line of Field Champion working dogs, including FTCH Jobeshill Ragnar of Flypatch, FTCH Craighorn Bracken, FTCH Aughacasia Sam of Drakeshead (IKC), FTCH Lettermore Trout, and many more. She has been brought up in the family home where she has shown she is loving, loyal, and always keen to please. She has an excellent nose and is super obedient, and is a great Mum to her pups. She has been on a small number of shoots and already proving her ability.

Her latest eye test was completed June 2022 and she has tested ‘Clear’ in all areas.

The pups are being brought up in the family home allowing them to get accustomed to household noises from birth which helps them with basic communication skills they will need in later life. As they are in an environment where they have frequent interaction with humans, they learn to associate and bond with people making them very well socialised by the time they leave their mum. They will be used to the whistle by the time they leave so should have positive thoughts when they hear it in the future. At the time of leaving us, our litters are very close to being toilet trained to a specific area which makes the toileting transition easier for when they go to their forever homes.

They are being wormed every 2 weeks with Drontal from 2 weeks after birth and will get a precautionary flee treatment given before they leave.
They will leave our care from 6 November 2022 when they will be 8 weeks old with the following: -
1. KC registration papers
2. Microchip Registration papers
3. Kennel Club 5 weeks free pet insurance
4. Bag of Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Athletic puppy food
5. A puppy toy which they have shown they like playing with
6. Bedding with mum and siblings’ scent
7. A care advice sheet
8. Free vouchers to help towards their supplies.

All puppies will be fully vet health checked before they leave.

Should you decide to home one of our pups a “Non refundable” reservation fee of £375 will be required, for which you will be given a receipt of reservation. No puppy purchase can be guaranteed till this amount is received.

You will get regular updates via Whatsapp as to their progress with photos and videos. We think this is very important so you can start bonding with the puppy before it arrives home. You will be allowed to view the puppies from 4 weeks. Guidance on what to purchase or preparations needed in readiness for your puppy’s arrival will also be made.
We will ask questions to help ensure these puppies go the type of homes which are most suitable for the breed, and we encourage you to ask as many questions as you need answered to help ensure you have made the correct choice of puppy. Our requirement is that All puppies MUST go to a good caring and loving home. We keep in
