We are delighted to announce that Champion Steigen Needle In A Haystack has been confirmed in whelp.


This is a repeat mating of our last litter, which went on to produce the Top Winning Rottweiler Puppy in the United Kingdom 2019, Steigen Nevada Mit Jaegerot!

The sire of the litter is Jaegerot D'Artagnan (CH Rostock Claas x Steigen Earth Angel JW). He has only been lightly shown but has been consistently placed at Championship Show level. He has also been health tested and has the following results:
Hip Score - 5/4
Elbow Score - 0
JLPP - Clear.

The dam of the litter is our homebred champion, CH Steigen Needle In A Haystack. She is out of our first homebred male, CH Steigen Crixus, and Steigen Isnt She Something. She has won 3 Challenge Certificates, 2 with Best of Breed. She has also been health tested and has the following results:
Hip Score - 5/3
Elbow Score - 2
JLPP - Clear
Her estimated breeding values are all lower than average risk, compared to the Rottweiler breed average, for inherited diseases i.e Elbow Dysplasia and Hip Dysplasia.

As both parents are clear for the JLPP gene, it means the puppies can neither be affected by JLPP or carry the genetic marker for the disease.

All of our puppies will be reared in the family home, meaning they will be familiar to plenty of human interaction and every day household noises. All will be vet checked, microchipped and wormed before going to their forever homes, which will be at a minimum of 8 weeks of age.
