We are pleased and excited to announce that the renowned Hobbiton Gundogs of Tolkienhurst, are due a beautiful litter of puppies around the 3rd week of July. Our gorgeous Ellie is the mum. From our recent scan, we are expecting a good sized litter.

Both Parents can be seen, which can be rare.

We pride ourselves on our high level of breeding, health testing, training and reputation throughout the UK. We are a small non commercial breeders. So this would be a rare opportunity to obtain one of our beautiful puppies. It is paramount to us, that all puppies are placed in the best & most suitable homes possible. All potential new owners will be thoroughly vetted for suitability and we actively encourage all working & active family homes. These puppies are often sold long before being born. If we feel you would indeed be suitable, you can then register your interest with us/place a deposit. We make no promises, until these puppies are safely on the ground.

KC registered. Puppies will be hereditary clear of all DNA conditions known to the breed. 'Parker' the Sire carries 2 CLEAR copies of these genes thus meaning your puppy can never develop and of the following conditions throughout its life. this includes FUCO, PRA Cord 1, Gonioscopy & PFK.

Each puppy will have tail docking with DEFRA certificate. 1st vaccination, we liaise with your vets and then pay a premium on your behalf, to make sure the vaccine our vet used, is indeed compatable with the 2nd course that you will arrange. Up to date worming / flea treatment. They will be covered against all parasites (internal & external) until the age of 10 weeks. We use only the best products Milbermax & Stronghold. Detailed worming/flea programme. Microchipping, which we will transfer over for you at no extra cost, once you become the new owners. Thus giving you peace of mind, that there will be no hidden extra costs to yourself at any point. We provide a easy to follow guide and information for you & your vet, when your puppy eventually goes to its new home. 5 generation pedigree and a Puppy Contract.

Both Sire & Dam are working dogs, used regularly on local shoots for 'Picking up'. Their outstanding pedigree's speak for themselves! Mostly FTCH or FTW they will come from outstanding stock, that would quite easily trial. There are currently very few puppies of this quality for sale. Ellie is a fantastic mum & her previous litter produced the most fantastic, trainable, biddable puppies. Both parents can be seen & have fantastic traits that will no doubt be passed onto their offspring.

You puppy will be given the very best start in life, well socialized with both humans and our many other dogs. House breaking will be well under way. Home reared, accustomed to both crate & kennel as well as being familiar with a home environment. Transported often in a vehicle, to allow them to be accustomed to travelling. All puppies are health checked at 24/48hrs again at 6 wks and just before going to their new homes. We actively encourage new owners to visit us prior to choosing their puppy. All puppies can be seen after 4 weeks of age. Its a very exciting time for everyone getting a new addition to the family. You will receive regular pictures and videos of our daily home life once the puppies arrive. Also regular updates throughout the rest of Ellie's pregnancy. This often ensures a smooth transition from birth to new home environment. We are on hand if you need us & offer lifetime support should you need it.
