We are pleased & excited to announce that the renowned Hobbiton Gundogs of Tolkienhurst, have a new litter which arrived safely with us on 21st January 2017.

Inde our wonderful mummy had 7 girls & 2 boys. All thriving & doing well. They had their first vet health check on the 23rd January. 9 good, strong healthy puppies.

Due to our high level of breeding knowledge, health testing, training & reputation throughout the UK, this would be a rare opportunity to obtain one of our puppies. It is paramount to us, that all puppies are placed in the best homes possible. Suitable for both working & active family homes. Due to the high demand for our puppies & due to litter size, puppies becoming available is unusual. All puppies will be due to go to new homes around the 2nd week of March 2017.

Both parents pedigrees contain mostly FTCH. Bolt is a lovable, yet loyal excellent working dog. Equally, Inde also a working bitch, has fantastic Edwardiana lines. The DNA Health testing involved, ensures your puppy will be in the best possible health and not carry any Inherited health conditions. Bolt carries 2 copies of the CLEAR DNA gene for all 3, which are known to the breed PRA Cord1, FUCO & PFK. Therefore making it impossible for him to pass on any know health conditions to his offspring.

You will receive a comprehensive Excellent Puppy Package (see below) Lots of individual attention is given to each puppy. This includes excellent socialization, with their other siblings, humans & our many of our other family Springers . We pride ourselves on producing outstanding quality puppies. Bred for amongst other things, excellent temperament and trainability. Thus making them both excellent working dogs and fantastic family pets.

Tail docking, dew claws removed were required, 1st inoculation (we liaise with your vet, to ensure the vaccine used, is compatible with the one your vet will use for the 2nd inoculation). Microchipping, up to date worming programme, using only the best Panacur & Milbermax. Each puppy will be administered with Stronghold at 6 weeks, to ensure they are totally free of any internal/external parasites including fleas. 4 weeks free Pet insurance from Petplan. This will be in place from the day you collect your puppy, giving you total peace of mind. Puppy contract. Puppy handbook containing all the literature you will need, to ensure a smooth transition from birth enviroment to new home. Correct registration/tail docking DEFRA documents. Detailed puppy worming programme, advice on flea/tick treatments (note all puppies are covered by us until 10 weeks of age). Vet information. A5 sized 5 generation pedigree.

Each puppy pack also contains a Teething Ring, KONG Puppy Toy, KONG or Buttons & Bear comforting Toy, Blanket with mother's scent. Free 3 week food packs each from Acana, (of which we are on their Assured Breeders Scheme) 3 weeks raw food packs from Nutriment puppy (see below) Diet sheet, money of vouchers, literature & measuring cup.

Your puppy will be fully weaned by 6 weeks of age. We use only the best quality high grade kibble consisting mainly of human grade meat, called Acana. Also, they will have been fed excellent Puppy Raw of Nutriment/Natures Menu.

Every effort is put in to start with housebreaking before your puppy leaves us. They are home reared, will be accustomed to both crate, kennel as well as being familiar with a home environment. All puppies are health checked at 24/48hours old & 7 weeks, just prior to going to their new homes. We actively encourage new owners to make regular visits after the puppies are 4wks of age. We have strict hygiene regulations in place at all times, ensuring the optimum welfare of not only our puppies but all our dogs.

We are a small non commercial breeders. We also pride ourselves on many other aspects of work including training, stud work and obedience.
