They are both mid-light wheaten one with white on chest and all toes & the other with white on chest. They are both very affectionate and although previously reserved their potential owners have backed out at the last minute.

Kamili Rhodesian Ridgebacks are pleased to announce the arrival of our eagerly anticipated litter.

Kamili Asabi (Dolly) gave birth to 9 girls and 3 boys on 1st July 2012. Mum and pups are doing incredibly well. The pups have had their initial checks for Dermoid Sinus and are clear however, two breeders, a local vet and I will continue to regularly check all pups until they leave us.

Both the Dam and Sire (Ch Sonstraal Chocolate Storm ShCM, aka Elvis) are hip and elbow scored and are excellent ambassadors of the breed with sound, steady temperaments.

The Kamili line, founded from Nyassa lines, is well known for their even, laid back dispositions and frequently attract positive comments by people within the breed or by the passing public. In my search for a stud for Dolly, good temperament was a factor I was not willing to compromise on: in Elvis I believe I found that.

Dolly is a solid, top-sized bitch. She often 'helps' in work when I am called upon to give presentations to school children or other members of the community and always behaves wonderfully. Her steady nature has meant that she has also been called to help in the rehabilitation of dog bite victims, usually children. Dolly is shown and achieved her stud book number in 2010, qualifying her at Crufts for life.

Elvis is a superb dog, very sociable with both people and other animals and a true gentleman! He is regularly shown and has had remarkable success in the showring, gaining his Championship title in 2011. Pictures of Elvis and an overview of his show career can be seen on his website:

Our puppies will be reared in a family environment, not in kennels; they will have frequent interaction with our other dogs, cats and our extended family & friends.

Potential puppy owners are welcome to visit the pups, once they are 4 weeks of age, by prior arrangement. Dolly can be seen with the pups along with Grandmother Kobie and Aunt Tao.

Each puppy will be ready to leave for their new homes round 24th August 2012. They are KC registered (with full restrictions placed upon the pedigree) and will leave me fully wormed, micro chipped, having received their 1st vaccination, with a diet sheet/food and insurance. Once each puppy leaves me I will always be available to offer any further advice. Should the new owner's circumstances change and the dog needs to be re-homed then I would expect to be informed and I will make suitable arrangements to find the dog a new home, wherever possible.

I am a member of the Kennel Club's Assured Breeder Scheme and subscribe to the ethos of responsible dog breeding and care of my breed.
