BooBoo was born in March 2020 just as we went into lockdown so he never had a puppy career in the show ring. Instead we turned to other activities such as water training and Gundog work. He achieved his KC Working Gundog Certificate out of the puppy class at only his 2nd working test.
In the show ring he entered with a bang as a junior and became a Show Champion at his first 3 CC shows. He went on to be awarded a total of 6 CCs as a junior with the highlight of the year being him winning a Championship Gundog Group and ending the year as UK Top SWD 2021.
He had a break during 2022, whilst I focussed on Hank.
In 2023 he came back just as strong as an adult to end the year as Top SWD 2023 and Breed Record Holder
BooBoo took part in his first World Dog Show in Geneva 2023 and I was thrilled for him to come away as vice World Winner.
He then finished the year making breed history as the only ever Spanish Water Dog to get to the Final at the UK Contest of Champions 2024 (Top Dogs in each breed) and was awarded Runner Up.
He is also the best pet anyone could ever ask for and a joy to have around.
