Bertie has been doing very well in the show ring, qualifying for Crufts 2022 and 2023. He was awarded a 3rd place at Crufts 2022 in KCGC when his breeder (Linda Harding) handled him. At this years Crufts (2023) I took him into the ring and we were all thrilled when he was shortlisted down to the final 8 dogs out of 22 present in Graduate dog. He then went one better by being awarded 4th place in KCGC (21 dogs present) under judge Lynn Kipps - we couldn’t be any prouder of our lovely boy.
At the NGRA Championship Show he was placed 2nd in Graduate dog qualifying him for Crufts 2024 - what a superstar he is.
Now that he has his Stud Book Number he has a lifetime qualification for Crufts.
Over the last 12 moths he has had numerous 2nd place in the Limit Dog class at Championship Shows,
Bertie is available at stud to Golden Retriever bitches who have up to date satisfactory health test results and the wonderful temperament that we expect in our lovely breed.
He ihas now been proven at stud with the arrival of his first two litters born ten days apart in July 2023. Please note that all matings will take place at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, as we have chosen to use a top stud dog handler.
