Spruce is the fourth generation of my breeding, and is son of Fig. He is a delightful dog, confident and extremely friendly, and very like his father and grandfather in temperament. Keen to please, biddable, loves to learn, and extremely loving and affectionate.

Spruce has done very well with his agility training. He has won into Kennel Club grade 5, gained his Kennel Club Agility Warrant (Platinum), and he always tries his very best for me.

Spruce has excellent health test results - 0 elbows, hips 2:2, clear eyes, DNA clear for STGD. MCD, CNM, EIC, PRA, SD2 and HNPK, meaning that none of any puppies he sires in the future will be affected with any of these conditions.

Spruce has sired some super litters and is available at stud to selected bitches now.

Spruce is a joy to share my life with, and is a credit to his parentage. He lives indoors with our 3 other Labs, comes to the office with me, enjoys camping in our caravan, and is an absolute pleasure to walk, play and train with. I am having a lot of fun with him!


In 2022 Spruce and Rose’s son Quince joined our family too!
