Bruce started his showing career where he took his first steps in the ring at Southern Counties Championship Show, where he qualified for Crufts 2019 with his very first show.

He has had a great start to his showing career and we hope to continue with this as he develops. He has been consistently placed in the top three places in all of his shows attended to date at Championship level.

"Promising puppy, nice size and well balanced with strong hind angulation. Nice head, gentle expression. Reachy neck in well placed shoulder and moved so freely around the ring, i hope he does well."

Bruce has had a successful 2019 to date, winning multiple Championship show classes and being considered for the CC certificates at Leeds and Bournemouth championship shows. He was also awarded Reserve Best Dog at the South Yorkshire Whippet Club show under breed specialist Mark Smith and won Best of Breed, Hound Group 1 and Reserve Best in Show at the Bridgend and District Premier Open Show. He also won Reserve Best Dog and went on to win Reserve Best in Show at the East Anglia Whippet Club Open Show under judges Lynn Bailey and Kathryn Jones.

Bruce won the Reserve Dog Challenge Certificate at the Midland Whippet Championship Club Show under breed specialist Rob Becquet.

Bruce won the Dog Challenge Certificate at Crufts Championship Show 2020 and Best Opposite Sex under breed specialist Michael White from a huge entry of 224 males. This was a special day for us, seeing Bruce win at the biggest stage of all.

Bruce won his second CC at the East Anglian Whippet Club Championship show under breed specialist Rob Wheeler and going on to win Reserve Best in Show.

Bruce has won two Reserve CCs in his last two consecutive shows at the Hound Association Championship Show and Leeds Championship Show 2021.

Bruce has had a great 2022 show season to date where he gained 4CCs and 1RCC so far this year.
He won the Dog RCC at Boston Championship Show under breed Specialist Sharon Bowers.

He then gained his crowning CC at the prestigious Whippet Club Championship show under breed specialist Editha Newton (Nevedith) and going onto Reserve Best in Show agreed with fellow judge Henrick Harling.

A week later, Bruce did the double at the Hound Association and Northern Counties Whippet Club Championship Show winning the Dog CC at both shows under breed specialists Ian Halbert and Jackie White, his daughter won the bitch CC at Northern Counties where we did the double on the day, a day not to forget.

Bruce won his six CC at the Southern Counties Association Championship show under breed specialist Unto Timonen.

At his first show of 2023, Bruce went on to win his 5th Reserve CC at the South West Whippet Championship Show under breed specialist Rob Becquet and went on to win Reserve Best in Show from an entry of 319!
