Tragically we lost Berwyn suddenly on 27 May 2025. He had just turned nine, which is no age for a brittany. We are devastated, but will forever be grateful to have been able to share our lives with such an incredible and loving dog.

Berwyn regularly competed in shows and working gundog events since he was a puppy.
His most notable awards included:
- Reserve CC at Windsor 2023 under breed specialist Patricia Rush
- Best of Breed and dog CC under breed expert Kathy Moores at Manchester Championship show 2023
- Winner of the BASC Working Gundogs Any Variety Pointer, Setter, HPR Best Dog (and winner of The Countrymans Weekly Trophy) at Crufts 2019
- Gun's choice award - BWWGS Novice Trial 11 December 2019
- Third place at the GSPA gundog working test 2018
- Reserve CC at Windsor 2018 under Judge R. McMaster.
- Best puppy in breed Crufts 2017
