Owner and handler/ trainer of dual purpose gundogs.

We got our first brittany (Berwyn) in 2016, and since then have been passionate about the dual-purpose nature of this breed.

We regularly show, have worked since Berwyn was old enough, and compete in gundog working tests, pointing tests, and have participated in field trials, with Berwyn being awarded the gun's choice award at the BWWGDS novice trial in 2019.

We bought our second brittany, Peiam, in 2019 after many months of planning. She is a sweetheart and very willing to please. She is a natural retriever and a fast, driven hunter.

We also have a standard wirehaired dachshund from continental lines, Mabel. We have always owned dachshunds in our family, going back to a photo of my great-grandmother as a toddler with a standard wire puppy on her lap! We used to show our old standard wire boy Blackjack (Haberfeld Heinrich), and we do miss showing a dachshund.

We have recently expanded our family with a curly coated retriever, Duke (Molokain Doing the Do at Cetgueli JW). I am a member of the local wildfowling club and had been thinking about a larger dog for wildfowling, as the brittanys are a bit small for the strong tides we can get in Kidwelly and Ferryside. Our new boy will be shown as well as worked.

I also successfully compete in adult handling, and am available for show handling services (please see our website for further details)

I am a learner judge at JEP level 2 for brittanies.
