Emma is Black carrying Chocolate - she does not carry the dilute or long coat gene.

Emma is very special, as she is Bailey and Ebony's daughter and after losing Bailey and using his frozen semen, you could say she was made in heaven! She is our first completely home bred girl and she goes back to Hazel, Megan, Bailey and Ebony. She is a very sweet girl and is happy and confident but is very laid back, just like her sire. Emma is showing a natural ability for gundog training - she has plenty of drive but is steady and sensible, making her a pleasure to train and quick to learn. We hope she will follow in her Mum and Dad's footsteps both in the show ring and the shooting field and whatever happens, we are delighted with this special girl.

Emma was very raw as a youngster but she made a good start in the show ring at the Manchester Champ Show 2017, she made the cut in a class of 20 quality Bitches and she is also consistently placed at open shows. We concentrated on gundog training while Emma matured and this extra training paid off when she was awarded her KC WGC on game, aged just under 15 months old! She has done a few days picking up this season with her Mum Ebony and her half sister Rosie.

Emma was back out in the show ring in February 2019 and she won the working dog/bitch class at the Cotswold & Wyevern LRC Open show. She beat her Mum Ebony and she was also awarded the Abbeystead Heron's Court trophy.

Emma was at Crufts in 2019 in the working bitch class in the breed ring and we were also presented with her WGC in the gamekeepers ring.

In November 2019, Emma had a super litter and we have kept one of her sons called Ollie. In May 2022, she had another super litter and we have kept one of her daughters called Maisie. Emma will be out picking up with Ollie this year and We hope to show her again in the future.
