I loved George from the day I set eyes on him as an 8 week old puppy. His breeder Tan Nagrecha tried to politely point me in the direction of his litter sister Primrose, but I was smitten by George so both puppies ended up going home with me that day . Hence George's kennel name "Hell to Pay" which was what I got from my husband when I arrived home !
George was slow to mature and never actually reached the show ring but he had the most striking of heads and a glorious outline and would have been a firm favourite with traditional English judges.
George had the most gentle, benevolent nature and it was an asolute joy to own him.

It is therefore all the more devestating that I sadly lost George in September 06 due to a brain tumour. He showed very little sign of illness prior to his death but on thinking back, he wasn't just quite his normal self.
Although losing George was very sudden and was only four weeks after the loss of his grandmother Dana, I am glad that he had no suffering and that he died with dignity and without pain.
George was a very special boy who gave so much love and he will always be sadly missed here at Islamorada.
