Dana was bred by Tan Nagrecha who owned and succesfully campaigned her during her early years. As a puppy she achieved BPIS and BIS awards at Open Show level and a RBPIS at Championship show level. At the age of two, she gained her crown and then the highlight of her show career came the following year when she was awarded Best Bitch in Breed at Crufts.
I had always admired Dana from the ringside and was very impressed by her strength and the way she drives on the move.
In 2003, I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to bring Dana to live at Islamorada and she is now co-owned by myself and Tan.
Since moving to Scotland, Dana has continued her winning ways, adding a 6th CC and a further 2 RCCs to her total.
We can't always make the long trip South of the Border to attend Champ shows so try to support as many Open shows in Scotland as we can. During 2004 Dana notched up numerous Best of Breed awards along with Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4 placings, also earning the St Bernard Club of Scotland's annual Open show points trophy.
I am extremely proud to have such a lovely girl in my kennel and although I enjoy sharing in her success, she is also a much loved pet who likes nothing better than to indulge her favourite passions of eating, sleeping and playing in the snow.

2006 - Very sadly on 20th August 2006 we heartbreakingly had to say goodbye to our beautiful Dana. She was a couple of weeks short of her seventh birthday and I am happy to say, enjoyed a fit and active lifestyle until the day she died. Dana was a very, very special bitch who gave me so much ( my first CC and my first litter) but who looked for so little in return. I will always be grateful to Tan Nagrecha for allowing me to have Dana in her later years and for giving me one of the strongest foundation bitches any kennel could hope for. Dana's spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren here at Islamorada and at Chandlimore.
