News Flash:-
At Driffield,30th of September 2017,Reggie won his 3rd Challenge Certificate under Breed Specialist Janet Lee(Tythrop),making him a UK Champion(subject to KC confirmation),wooohooo.
REGGIE,I wanted something different with not the same dogs in his pedigree as everyone else.I attended some Champ shows, observed as many Borders as i could, spoke to some very nice people.I had to wait for nine months for a puppy but he has been well worth the wait.I am looking forward to showing him late 2012 and into 2013.
As his individual and unique pedigree shows he carries some traditional English lines and with his Sire being imported from Sweden,a completely different bloodline on his sire's mothers line including the awesome World Winner 08 Damdyke Gentil Hugel. His relatives can be viewed on both the Kgills Border Terrier and Sweeping Kennel Sweden websites.
He also has an inbreeding co-efficiency of only 6.5%,well below the breed average.
He took a little time to mature but has been consistently placed at championship shows(under top breed specialist judges) and several BOB at open level with some fabulous critiques. He was in the top 10 junior border terrier dogs(nationally)2013 with very limited showing.
And January 2014 at Boston under David Maggs he was placed 3rd in open dog to get his stud book number thus qualifying him for Crufts for life and the tender age of just 22 months.
Having such a wonderful temperament and easy going nature,he has been the perfect dog for my daughter to start her junior handling career.
Proven Sire.

1st Limit Dog,Joint Border Terrier Clubs 2014,judged by Mrs E Weijenborg-Weggemans(Netherlands) she wrote:-True to type, well-built dog where everything is right and nothing is exaggerated, narrow all through, lovely size though for some people he probably shouldn't be smaller, saying that he is a masculine dog, nice otter head, well angulated, thick pliable pelt, double harsh coat in nice show condition meaning not too short, nice tail set and correct carroty tail, well angulated, sound mover, just needs more ring experience to get the best out of him.
BIS at Southern Border Terrier Club Open Show,September 2014 under Trudi Baird(Dowgri),in her critique she wrote:-
Masculine typy red in excellent bloom with harsh double coat and plenty of pelt, wonderful head and expression , good dark eye, well ribbed back, topline and tailset correct , spanned easily ,loved him on the table and pleased when he moved out with accuracy and drive. Best dog and BIS.
1st Limit Dog and RDCC at LKA 2014 under David Winsley(Davmar),he wrote:-
nice dog of good type & a nice size. Liked his head, correct proportions & expression. Good neck & correct shoulder placement, straight front with good bone. Deep chest, narrow enough & well ribbed. Racy & balanced shape. He has a good turn of stifle & well muscled hindquarters, good feet too. Moving fluently both ways, with a good pelt & the correct harsh textured coat. Showed steadily, deserved the RCC.

Grizzle & Tan. Super head & expression. Good neck, shoulder, front & feet. Excellent topline & tailset. Super hindquarters. Best mover in the class, keeping his outline on the move. Super double coat and beautifully handled by his young owner.
Driffield 2017,1st Open,Janet Lee(Tythrop)
Handy sized red grizzle with lovely outline, well balanced head with well placed eye, not too deep in stop. Good reach of neck with nicely angulated front, his length of upper arm allowing leg to be under the body. Well ribbed back, strong loin, well angulated rear with well let down hocks which drove him round the ring on a long stride with plenty of scope. Came in good double coat and moved accurately in very forward going fashion, with style, keeping his topline and good balance. Expertly handled, was pleased to award him DCC and understand this is his third. Many congratulations
