In 2008, I rescued Ru (Ruperts Gold Boy) a working Goldie, he'd been declared gun shy as a puppy and was a unwanted gun dog. Having been left in a kennel for 18months, he had no life skills and his first year with us was hard, whilst he learnt about life. I quickly bonded with Ru, and this was the start of my love for goldies.
Ru is now enjoying competing in both obedience and agility and doing well.
