Maya has 4CCs, 4RCCs and her SGWC.

In 2014 she gained her third CC under Penny Carpanini (Carpenny), following her successes in 2013 when winning the CC at East Anglia LRC under Keith Wallington (Balnova), Mid Limit at Three Ridings LRC and both her classes at Crufts, in the Gamekeepers ring and the breed ring. She followed this up by winning the CC and BOB at Gundog Society of Wales under Maxine Crocker-Williams (Alkamhurst) and the RCC and best Chocolate In Show at WELRC under Mrs Sheelin Cuthbert (Ballyduff). She qualified for GBAS's Top Scottish Gundog 2013 competition, but was unable to attend as she was bald!

Maya was a slow to mature girl; she's a big girl and needed a lot of time to 'catch up with herself' physically as a youngster. Despite this she qualified for Crufts at her first champ show, and has been well placed on her few outings in the rings - she is nearly always placed in the top three at champ shows, including winning a good yearling class at N&D Lab Club show. She has also gained her Show Certificate of Merit at open shows and her Show Gundog Working Certificate in December 2014.

Maya has a lovely personality. She is a big softy; always biddable and willing to please and just the easiest and nicest dog to live with. She's a very hard hunting dog on game - she's got bags of natural ability and a superb memory.
