Ava is my first home-bred wire and she is a real character, full of fun and mischief. Her favourite occupation is redesigning the garden.
She is much like her dam, Ruby, in type and character and her coat has the required wire texture. She a confident little girl and has a good nose for game.

Show news - Ava wins Best in Show in April 2012 and then again a year later in 2013 at the HWVCGB's show.

Having been out of the showring since April Ava wins Limit bitch and her KC stud book number at the National Gundog Association Championship Show in August.

Ava is awarded best of breed at South Wales Championship Show under breed specialist Chris Guest.

*Ava is awarded runner up best show puppy 2010 for the HWVA and HWVCGB*.

At Driffield, Midland Counties, LKA and Manchester championship shows Ava was awarded puppy bitch and best puppy in breed. She went Best Puppy in Show at Ashbourne and DCS in December. Thank you to the judges.

Now retired from the showring In 2014 Ava had a litter to Sh Ch Herlinga Herveus. I kept Ruby 2, who at 17 months became the youngest show champion in the breed. At two years old she gained her working qualification and is now the breed's first full champion, Ch Morganna Star Anise JW ShCM. See her page for further information.
