Congratulations to Morganna Toffee Crisp at Canterway on winning her first RCC. Congratulations too to Ava's puppy, Morganna Hot Spice, on her championship wins and progress in her field work. I am watching her progress with great interest.

In the beginning.
Having admired the breed for many years I decided to look for a foundation bitch from good, sound lines and was fortunate that Rachel Thompson allowed me to have Moricroft Mata of Chance for Morganna.
Ruby had good conformation and an excellent temperament and fitted in with the Weimaraners perfectly. She was kind, gentle, very affectionate and had a very good nose for game.
She had some succcess in the showring winning best puppy awards and at championship level qualified for Crufts.
Hip score 6:6

When I wanted a second wire I went to Terry and Gillian Pearson and have Lanspar Muskalti for Morganna. Sassie is the daughter of the UK's first show champion Wirehaired Vizsla - Sh Ch Lanspar Reti Purge. Sassie is full of fun and mischief. She is a hard-running bitch with an excellent nose together with a very biddable, loving temperament. Hip score 4:6

I bred from Ruby and kept Ava. She is a delightful young lady and has the physical attributes of her mum together with an excellent wire coat. She qualified for Crufts at her first championship show at just six months. At Driffield, Midland Counties, LKA and Manchester championship shows Ava won puppy bitch and best puppy in breed. In December 2010 she was awarded Best Puppy in Show at Ashbourne and DCS. She has since won a number of championship classes in Junior, Post Graduate and limit and was Best of Breed at South Wales ch show. She went Best in Show in April 2012 at the HWVCGB's first limit show and again in 2013 for a second year running under Mrs S Pike. In 2014 I bred a litter from Ava and Sh Ch Herlinga Herveus and kept Ruby 2, Morganna Star Anise. She's a little star!

Ava had a litter in 2012 and Morganna Hot Spice is doing well for her owners in her championship show classes and in her field work.

My dogs have all the required health checks. I am a member of the HWVA and HWVCGB and adhere to their code of ethics. I live near Derby and offer ongoing support to puppy owners.
