Gorgeous Precious was suddenly unwell a few weeks before due to compete at Crufts 2016. It was very odd, I had just videoed her bouncing around on a walk, and in 24 hours she went from a bright Young dog to a very poorly one; and the vets advised her to let me go :'-( I will never know what was wrong, but she left too soon! She was only ten!

Despite being offered "silly money" for her when she was a pup, Precious stayed with us...and subsequently rewarded me with a 2-2 hipscore and 0-0 elbow score, which is extremely brill for a Saint. she also has a clear heart certificate, and her pups/grandpups are also clear.. I have shown Precious a bit, I think the last time was 2007 when she obtained third place in the junior class at Crufts.
Precious is the most biddable and obedient dog in general, (in fact for a tv job she once had to do 'blue screen' work... sitting on a huge bit of tissue paper while the filmpeople all faffed about; what i hadn't been prewarned about was, not only must she do her stay off lead, but they were filming her BREATHING so all commands had to be silent... not a problem, what a clever dog!!) but her specialist subject is disappearing into ditches and coming out varying shades of black and green.
Her proudest achievement was escaping with her granddaughter one night and hitch hiking to Kent before I knew they were gone!
