Bert was bought as an older pup from a gamekeeper in Yorkshire. I needed another HWV to bring on for grouse counts and he fitted the bill perfectly.
Such a sweet natured, gentle dog, easy dog to live with yet driven out in the field, willing to work with me and has started pointing grouse after a few early trips looking forward now to August brood counts and picking up with him this season as he is a natural retriever with a lovely delivery to hand
