Welcome to Geri's page on Champdogs

Geri is a sweet girl, and we call her the snuggle bunny as she is that Vizsla which buries herself under heaps of blankets and you dont know she is there. Plus she is a fuss pot. Geri is a happy dog and she sailed through puppy hood very easily.
We owned Geri's dad and he was a well known dog in the show ring in his time. He was the first dog I showed in Europe and I was so very pleased he became an international champion. To win this title you have to win 4 CACIB tickets from 3 different countries. So no mean task campaigning a dog for this title. Especially in the UK as that means a lot of travelling, time and cost. But I had made up a UK show champion and I always wanted to go to Europe to try and win a title. Since the Ive won several but he was our first dog. Geri's mum came through the late Gill beltons bloodline called Flushpoint. Gill worked her dogs as well as showed them. She is sourly missed with in the Vizsla community. I had always admired her dogs and when I got the opportunity to keep a Tango baby through one of her girls I jumped at the chance. I am told by those that loved her she would be so happy I had an ancestor of hers and kept the line going through our breeding.

Geri is a super russet gold colour, medium sized, not tall, she eats very well and not a fussy eater. I know she needs to go on a diet though. As she loves her dinner alittle too much. Geri's name did come from love of the spice girls ha ha. It seemed to suit her, when a song came on the radio when I was thinking of what to name her.

I can see her father in her a lot, possibly more than her mums looks. Im happy to say Geri is greatly loved with us and looking forward to what she brings to our bloodline over time.

Geri is 2 1/2 at the time of writing this and I have not had a litter with her yet, but that will change. Excited at the prospect of breeding her soon.
