Flex, pet name Hustle is a home bred dog out of FleekForm Powerslide. He is liver white & tan with tan patches on his face and hind leg.

He is fully health tested. Hip score 7, elbows 0/0. Gonioscopy 0, eye test clear. DNA clear. Knees graded excellent.

He is incredibly intelligent and excels when freeshaping and training using modern methods. His cognitive abilities are extraordinary. He will pick up what is being taught very quickly and he also retains almost all of what you worked on even if you put a pin in it and don't revisit it for months.

He marks game down well and keeps tight on the trip left by a pricked bird. He recovers birds very efficiently and I do not recall him failing to find one, though only three shooting seasons under his belt, there is still time to break this streak. He is a tall dog and covers ground very fast, fences are effortless to him even with a male pheasant retrieve in January.

He adores water and is an accomplished and fearless swimmer.

He doesn't hunt concrete but he does hunt scent with max speed and effort. His rate of scent uptake is the fastest I have seen of any dog I've come across ( video available on request). Which translates to getting on runners really quickly and missing nothing.

He is well furnished with a fabulous beard, clean headed no top knot.

He was born with rear articulated dew claws which I opted to remove at docking.

He has lots of style and action but unless on scent the pace is not exciting, I don't trial so this matters not to me but it may to you.

He is bold, fearless and super friendly with dogs and people. He is energetic and on the hyper side of nature. His temprement and temper are flawless he is not timid or meak in anyway. He's not the meak appeasing type he's the playfight, wrestle on the sofa bold and energetic type. Equally he's very cuddly and affectionate in the house.

He works for me, he's never been self employed, his recall is sharp and he's an easy member of my squad. He is part of an eight strong picking up team

He lives in or out and is well behaved in the house or kennelled/crated.

He cannot be described as mute as he does cry when females are in season and bark when visitors arrive. Worth a mention if you are considering him at stud.

He's a total joy to own, he loves coming mountain biking and paddleboarding during the closed season. He also settles well st a pub or cake stop. He is out 50ish days a season on commercial shoots in bracken, gorse, woodland and heather he faces any cover but he's not suicidal. He came out dogging in as a baby and was not a spot of bother, I actually let him have his head and it's not back fired yet he is a very very good working dog.
