Waldecke

My name is Sara van Oostrum (nee Egan) and my family and I have been showing, training, and breeding gundogs for over 30 years, starting off with working Labradors, then German Shorthaired Pointers, now our beautiful Hungarian Vizslas. Waldecke is German for 'Woodend', the name of the cottage in the New Forest the kennel was started at.

Our dogs are so versatile, including show dogs, working dogs, search & rescue, drug dogs, and bomb disposal for the Police Force.
We have exported all over the world including the United States.

We breed for temperament, breed type, and working ability, as well as being gorgeous to look at!

We also breed Manchester Terriers and have recently got back into GSPs after a break of 15 years when Callie came into our lives who had all our previous lines in her pedigree!
