As a family of 5 (myself, my husband and our 3 teenage children) we have had goldens as part of our family for the last 7 years but I always had golden retrievers in our family home growing up. They have always had a special place in my heart right from a young age with their loving nature, willingness to please and that constant wagging tail.
We currently have 2 golden retrievers and they are a huge part of our family.
Teddy who is 7 and Willow who is 2.
We live in the countryside so they both love their daily countryside walks, finding the muddiest puddles after its rained, carrying their toys around the house, greeting guests with their big wagging tails and just being around us and getting lots of fuss and cuddles at any opportunity.
