Peregos

Myself and my daughter Charis have owned and lived with dogs for the majority of our lives. Until recent years these have always been gundog breeds, Labradors, Spaniels and Golden Retrievers. Our last was Dyson, a rescue lab-cross until he passed away suddenly in December 2018.

In 2012 we fell in love with the Catalan Sheepdog and Ruby (Alvegi Borzas Dona at Peregos), our first Catalan, came to us in July 2013 at 16 weeks. Morgon (Le Magicien D'Oz Du Clos Millette at Peregos, our second Catalan, joined us in April 2016 from France. Brenna (Peregos Minerva's Wisdom) is our first home bred girl born in September 2018. Carlos (Cami Vida Bilbo Sirius at Peregos) joined us in November 2022 at 17 months.

We're lucky enough to live on the edge of the New Forest which allows us access to some wonderful walks.

We are active members of the breed club (Catalan Sheepdog Club of GB), and Debbie serves on the committee as Treasurer for the Club as well as Breed Health Co-ordinator. We also regularly represent the breed at Discover Dogs both at Crufts and at ExCel London.

Charis was a member of the Young Kennel Club and she qualified with Ruby for both the YKC Stakes and YKC Handling Semi-finals at Crufts in 2015 where they were shortlisted in the YKC stakes class. In 2016 they also qualified for the YKC Stakes Pastoral finals and were awarded VHC. She has qualified with Morgon for the 2018 and 2020 YKC Stakes Pastoral finals and was also awarded VHC with Morgon in 2020.

We were proud to have taken part in the Pedigree Paws Unite walk in September 2016 with Ruby which raised in excess of �70,000.
