I have owned and shown dogs for 40 odd years, and Giant Schnauzers for over 15 years now. My family and I currently share our house with 4 Giants, Purdey, Cruze, Indie and Ripley. They are great family companions first, that happen to have been successful in the showring. They have all been health checked, are well socialised and have super temperaments. Rufus - Ch. Riesenheim Rufus Black (sadly passed now) was the sire of my champion girl Purdey (Ch. Ferncliffe Pistols at Dawn for Ruffhaus) from his first litter. Eva - Ch. Ferncliffe Better By Far for Riesenheim ( beautiful soul no longer with us) was the mother of my male Cruze (Ch. Riesenheim Taio Cruz to Ruffhaus) Cruze has had great success winning Best of Breed at Crufts 2020, Best Dog at Leeds and Reserve Best in Show at the Schnauzer Club GB, attaining his championship title.Indie (Riesenheim Over The Moon at Ruffhaus) Indie is also fully health checked and has had success in the show ring, attaining her Kennel Club stud book number, despite limited show experience. Our latest addition is Ripley (Figosky Wake Me Up at Novavitez) Ripley is owned in partnership with her breeder at Figosky. She is a black and sliver Giant that we hope will be a good representation of the KC’s newly included colour into the breed standard.
