At Houndseeker we endeavour to breed healthy hounds with good, sound movement and breed type along with a steady happy temperament and superb character, we are a show and working kennel extremely dedicated to our hounds, first and foremost our hounds are our beloved companions who live in the house with us and enjoy life with regular trips out to different walking areas especially loving the beach. We have our hounds hip and elbow tested, eye tested, heart tested and DNA tested for degenerative mylopathy before we breed from them. We have spent many years researching the bloodlines that we wish to breed from, taking into consideration breed type, temperament and movement, we want and strive for sound, healthy, happy hounds, that are fit for function, capable of doing their job, tracking people and that are able to excel and enjoy the show ring but most importantly to make fabulous companions.
