Meet Pinto – A True All-Rounder with Heart, Talent and Charm
Pinto is a striking, long-tailed, pinto-coloured Spanish Water Dog who combines beauty, brains, and an enthusiastic zest for life.
At home, he’s a happy, relaxed dog—equally content playing in the garden or snoozing on the sofa. Pinto is a true multi-discipline star. He competes in Heelwork to Music, proudly earning a number of rosettes and is also a keen participant in gundog training, He loved his taster day at a local shoot and achieved a Distinction in the Gundog Club Grade 1 Hunting Retriever Field Test, as well as completing Grades 1–4 in the Evolution Dog Training Gundog Programme.
A true water lover, Pinto swims regularly and enjoys muddy rivers just as much as structured sessions. Through Maravilla Water Training, he has earned bronze, silver, and gold awards, and is well on his way to completing the Platinum.
Recently introduced to the show ring, Pinto has quickly impressed—qualifying for Crufts 2024 (which we couldn’t attend) and 2026. He earned Reserve in Post Graduate Dog at Crufts 2025.
No matter the activity—showing, fieldwork, swimming, or heelwork—Pinto approaches every task with enthusiasm and style.
