Lewis is a very conscientious talented dog and probably the most honest dog I have ever owned, he just wants to get things right for you. Now enjoying his retirement on the sofa. He is the father of my currant competition dog Islasbraw Ash (Harris)

Islasbraw Ash At 150th KC Celebration

In 2023, I was very proud that Harris and myself were selected for the Scottish Team at the Kennel Club150th year celebration at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire. It was even more special as Scotland came first, and the icing on the cake was Harris being awarded the trophy for "Top Dog", as he had achieved the highest overall score in the competition.

He is also a Field Trial Award Winner and took part in the 2024 HPR Championships, where he came a very respectable second place and in addition to that also received the “Guns Award” which topped off our trialling season of 2024 perfectly.

I am a full time gamekeeper and have been now for 40 years. At 16 I bought my first Labrador and the passion for dogs has never left. My first German Shorthaired Pointer really fired up my interest in HPR dogs which i work alongside my labradors on every shoot day on the estate.
