We have owned Weimaraners for over 35 years and have only had 12 litters in that time. All our puppies are lovingly home-reared & well socialised, given the very best care possible, our priority is the health & welfare of the puppies we breed. Schonhund offer a lifetime of support & commitment to our puppies & their new owners.

It is our intention to remain true to the breed & are intent on attaining quality breeding through our lines.
All our dogs are health tested in line with the Kennel Club recommendations before any future breeding is considered. We pride ourselves in the low Hip Score results we have achieved to date all being below the breed average & several zero scores.

ALL OUR PUPPIES REGISTRATIONS ARE ENDORSED (X)- NOT FOR EXPORT & (R)-PROGENY NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REGISTRATION.

We have been members of The Kennel Club Assured Breeders Scheme since 2005 & have been awarded 3 Accolades by the KC. To achieve this status you need to have bred dogs worthy of attaining their Stud Book number as well as belong to the breed clubs, adhering to their codes of conduct to qualify for this status.

We are members of The Weimaraner Club of Great Britain, The Weimaraner Association, The North of England Weimaraner Society, The Weimaraner Club of Scotland & The Kennel Club Assured Breeders Scheme.

Achieving some success in the show ring Schonhunds have won 8 Challenge Certificates, 17 Reserve Challenge Certificates, awarded 17 Stud Book numbers, 10 Junior Warrants, 3 Show Certificates of Merit, along with 2 Best Puppy in Breed awards at Crufts in 2005 & 2018. Awarded Top Brood Bitch in 2012 & The Weimaraner Association Top Puppy in 2008.
We bred Grace & Magic who compete in agility along with their adoring owner Kelly, plus they have both achieved their KC Gold Certificate Good Citizens Award.
Izzy is a bitch we bred who is a Certified PAT Dog. Along with her dedicated owner Janet they visit local schools helping children with reading & also visit the elderly on a regular basis.
