We are members of The Kennel Club Assured Breeders/UKAS Scheme, gaining 3 Accolades. A successful inspection was carried out by the KC on 24th March 2014 with no improvements required.

Shiu Shiu has been mated to Louis for her second litter with puppies expected around 24th May they would be ready to leave for their new homes at the end of July.
Their last litter in 2011 produced some stunning pups & 5 of them went to live with existing fabulous Schonhund owners.
Louis & Shiu Shiu are show dogs but more importantly they are much loved members within our families. Louis has 6 CC's & 5 RCC's to date & also won the RCC at Crufts 2014. Shiu Shiu was The Weimaraner Association Top Puppy in 2008 & also The Weimaraner Club of Great Britain Top Brood Bitch for 2013.

Shiu Shiu Hip Score is 2:2 & Louis Hip Score is 3:2. We kept a bitch from their last litter & called her Envy, her Hip Score is 0:0.

As members of The Kennel Club Assured/UKAS Breeders Scheme this gives prospective new owners the best opportunity to bring home a healthy, well adjusted puppy, which comes from breeding stock that has been screened for some possible health problems. You have the reassurance of knowing that we agree to provide a quality, supportive & informative service, both before & after you take your puppy home.
Our priority is the health & welfare of the puppies we breed. They will be Kennel Club Registered, have a Five Generation Pedigree, will be wormed, have their Dew Claws removed by our vet, be micro-chipped & leave with 4 weeks KC free insurance. A comprehensive puppy pack & contract will be provided with each puppy, along with food, puppy blanket with smells of mum & siblings to help them settle in the first few days in their new homes. We will compile a DVD throughout the first 8 weeks of their life for each new puppy owner.

These puppies Registrations will be endorsed (X) - Not eligible for export and (R)- Progeny not eligible for registration. This is to ensure the welfare of any stock we breed and we are happy to discuss this in more detail.

SCHONHUND offer a lifetime of support & commitment to our puppies & their new owners 24/7. Our puppies are lovingly home reared & well socialised. They will only be available to committed suitable approved homes.

When Shiu Shiu has been scanned at 3 weeks we will invite these potential new puppy owners to visit our home to meet our 5 Schonhunds. If you are completely satisfied with us & vice versa, we will then include you on our reservation list.
