All our breeding bitches hold a GSD Breed Council Survey Class 1.
As an ethical breeder, I follow the classification guide lines of the GSD Breed Council.
Contributing to breeding, aimed at enhancing genetic health and temperament.
The purpose of the breed survey procedures is to select dogs for breeding that appear particularly suited in regards to their temperament, their performances and their physical appearance. All fully health tested with results within a classification.
All our breeding bitches have their DNA Profile recorded with the GSD Breed Council.
Ellroost bitches are (DM) Degenerative Myelopathy DNA tested clear (2 copies)
The puppies will be Hereditary Clear of DM, which will show on the Kennel Club paper work, as the sire is also DM clear
All Ellroost puppies are home reared in a family environment. They have excellent temperaments, are used to household noises, and have endless stream of visitors, all making fabulous pets.
Here at "Ellroost ", we pride ourselves on the fact that we produce happy, confident, healthy and extremely well socialised puppies.
The health and happiness of our dogs and puppies are of the up most importance, and we only breed from dogs who have fabulous temperaments and are extremely healthy.
All our bitches are KC registered, hip scored, and elbow scored. The stud dogs that we choose to go to our girls will have the same requirements.
We use the best bloodlines available both in the UK and Internationally. The pedigree's of both sire and dam will be researched for compatibility before any mating takes place.
The Kennel Club Inbreeding Coefficient (COI) used.
The puppies are reared and fed on Eukanuba

Once the puppies leave our home from 8 weeks to approved homes, the socialisation then becomes your job, and we cannot stress highly enough how important this job is in order to have a happy, confident dog. We will be "on-hand" to help you every step of the way, and can help you to find good training schools to take your puppy to.

All our puppies Kennel Club registration papers are endorsed with the following:
" R " - Progeny not eligible for registration *
" X" - Not eligible for export pedigree.
However, the breeding endorsement may be removed after all health tests have been done with satisfactory results. Please discuss this with us prior to booking your puppy.
