Rufriver

We have established a small kennel of Labradors bred and trained for the field. Most of our dogs are fox red shade of yellow or dark yellow. All our dogs come from field trial and working lines and are all health checked through the British Veterinary Association health schemes and DNA tested for hereditary conditions that affect Labrador Retrievers.

Our philosophy is that all our dogs are pets as well as working dogs, so have to have a sound temperament as well as natural game finding ability. Training and working our labs is very much a hobby, but we aim to produce very good quality Labradors for the field.

At stud: Quarnford Pochard of Rufriver (OFTW) is a strong, well built dog by FTCh Mediterian Blue.
A 2-day open stake winner. Also at stud, Hollowgate Red Grouse of Rufriver (OFTW).

We are now offering training for you and your dog from puppy though to working gundogs. All abilities welcome and gundog breeds - please call for more information or visit our website.
