Thorn (FTW Think Twice One Shot) is a dark red, full working bred, proven stud dog, Golden Retriever from Italy, based in West Sussex. Handsome, loving, obedient, with bags of speed, drive and style. Born Feb 2020 Thorn has excelled in Gundog Working Tests and Field Trials. He is a Field Trial Winner and experienced picking-up dog.

Thorn is one of only a handful of working golden stud dogs that is actually proven in his work, in competition and in the field. If you are looking for a sire that has proven working ability please check their credentials and competition results - not just their health tests.

Thorn is strong and athletic, with a square head. Despite his speed and drive he is extremely biddable, which makes him a joy to train. He will make an excellent choice for those wishing to breed working golden retrievers for working tests, field trials and picking-up homes.

Thorn is fully health tested with hips 3/4 and elbows 0/0. Clear eye cert conducted yearly. He won Open and Novice working tests at just over 2 years old (summer 2022) and is a Field Trial Winner (All Age Any Variety stake) He has won multiple Open working tests, Top Dog at the prestigious Chatsworth Country Fair and Top Team at the Sherborne Country Fair. He is an excellent game finder and is a powerful, fearless dog with a heart of gold. Thorn is the half-brother of the IGL Championship award winning dog FTCh Think Twice Zero to Hero.
