2 beautiful import registered breeds bred and raised in a busy Family environment. The Braque d’Auvergne a wonderful and versatile HPR breed from France with a romantic history linking the to the knights of St John from Malta. The Black and Tan Coonhound is a wonderful American scent hound whose speciality is of course hunting and treeing Racoons. Dating back to the time of George Washington. One of a several Coonhoud breeds and the first to be recognised by the kennel club in the UK.

Both breeds make wonderful family pets, can be great with young children when raised and trained to be around them.
BdA's are very soft natured and do not react well to harsh training or firm handling. The Coonhounds as with any Scent hound, once on a scent they may not recall, so must be trained well to return when called with regular reinforcement of this.

Jen first discovered Coonhounds in the early 2000s while looking up dog breeds online. In 2018 the breed became recognised in the UK and in 2019, Jen and William seen the first Coonhound to grace the green carpet of crufts. Ch Scenterbay Sherlock Homes. As they say the rest was history and in November 2020 Jazz (Scenterbay Elemi) our first Coohound joined us in sunny Scotland.

Whilst researching a new 2nd breed to join our home in 2022 we attend Crufts. At Discover Dogs we met our first Braque d’Auvergne, we met so many lovely dogs over the 4 days but there was something about the Braques that had captivated us. We came to champ dogs and found a litter that was due later that year and in Feb 2023 Maxie (Barngrace Gin Made Me Do It) was brought home north of the border.

They are both so loving and slotted into our family with 2 young girls straight way and we would love to help you add a new loving member to your family.
