Afghan hounds have been part of my life since 1977, primarily as pets first, but over the years my kennels has had success in the show ring, racing and agility.

Currently our kennels we have had 2 champions the first was :-

Who is co-owned by myself Mr John Mort, Lucy & Leannah Treathowen

We were very oroud of Leon (Istani Major Tom) who was crowned a champion at Crufts 2014
by breed specialist Mr Chris Amoo taking Best Dog

also at Crufts 2014 our litter mates were 1st 2nd & 3rd in a strong puppy dog class,

1st Istani breaking every code Best Puppy In Breed
2nd Istani Joe Dimagio
3rd Istani Hell Raiser

We are very proud of all the Istani afghans who have either gained their Junior Warrants or Stud Book Numbers over the years.

Also now being show abroad is Istani Your Love Is King at Zharook JW being placed highly even in Veteran now aged 9yrs old owned by Mr & Mrs Latimer (Zharook Afghans)
