Wyrebeck Flatcoated Retrievers

Wyrebeck Retrievers was formed from a passionate and enthusiastic love of this fantastic breed.

I reared my first litter in August 2012 from my foundation bitch Keira. The litter were lovingly and attentively reared within the home with plenty of human contact and affection shown throughout the first and most important weeks of their lives. Since then have continued the line and now have 4 generations.

All my dogs live alongside us in our home and are first and foremost a part of our family. Any litter is raised alongside them in the family home and exposed to all house hold noises and our pet cats!

I travel around the country competing in British Flyball Competitions and showing at Championship and open shows. I enjoy working my dogs also. I gave my first working test a go in April 2014 and scored 87/100 in Novice Dog Novice Handler.

We lost our foundation bitch Keira (Lakemere She's My Kinda Girl At Wyrebeck) in May 2021 at 12 years old. This was a very hard loss for us but take comfort in having her legacy living on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren living with us. We then lost our first boy Bailey (Jarvo Jewel Of The Lake) in September 2022 at 12 years old but we are blessed with his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is the other half of our foundation with Keira and has given a lot to our kennel. I owe these two special dogs everything.

Here at Wyrebeck Retrievers it is our aim to breed healthy, confident and loving Flatcoated Retrievers within an loving, family environment.

We will be on hand throughout the whole life of every puppy to offer help and guidance. I love to hear how our extended family are getting on.
