Taurinstaff

Here at Taurinstaff (Kevin and Fiona Thisby) we are a family breeder where our dogs live in the home and are an integral part of family life.

Gus and Mindy have been with us since 2011, and we started showing them in 2012. We were pleasantly surprised with how well they did in the shows(especially Mindy) and they both qualified quickly for Crufts. We enjoy showing them although first and foremost they are our pets, enjoying lots of love and attention from all the family.


Our dogs are all Health Tested or Genetically Clear for L2HGA/HC and also tested 'Unaffected' for PPSC/PHPV/HC.

Gus (Dogumentary's Thunder) and Mindy (Kilghara's Lady Guinevere) have excellent temperaments and have enjoyed success at open and championship show level, both qualifying for Crufts 2013 and 2014.

Dora (Samtan Black Pearl at Taurinstaff) joined our family in 2015 and has love and energy in equal amounts! She has enjoyed huge success in shows, and has gained her stud book number. She has recently gained a CC and best of breed at championship level, and is enjoying life on the show circuit!

Her first litter produced 3 beautiful females, one of which is enjoying success at the highest level.


Bruce aka Taurinstaff Fist of Fury was bred from Mindy's final litter. He is a well built Staffordshire Bull Terrier that oozes strength. He is also successful at all show levels and has qualified for Crufts 2019 along with his 3 other Taurinstaff family!
