My dogs are very much family pets first and foremost. All raised as naturally as possible following holistic remedies and a raw diet as I believe this is best for long term, optimum health.
We are currently learning hoopers and some pet gun dog (for fun and enrichment). Lots of country walks keep us active, as well as trips to the beach, swimming in lakes and enjoying coffee shop and pub lunches.
All parents are extensively health tested and matched with temperaments that will compliment each other to ensure the best possible outcome.
My puppies are born in my quiet, cosy nursery room upstairs where I will start ENS, I then move them to the centre of my living room at 3-4 weeks where they are offered lots of socialisation and exposure to as many things as possible including grooming, hoover, fireworks, traffic, doorbell, baby sounds, people, children, different texture, my other dogs etc etc.
I also slowly crate train them so that by the time they leave they are most likely sleeping 6-7hrs through the night in their individual crates which makes the transition into their new home a lot less stressful for them and so much easier for the new owners.
On top of this I also start toilet training as they will have access to my garden and my artificial grass (aka the piddle patch).
