Breeder of:

  • Golden Retriever

To start we will give you a brief history of how we got into this wonderful breed....

It was my oldest daughter who bought a retriever and from then on we were bitten with the Golden Retriever bug... We owned a Cocker who was in his twilight years and we promised ourselves that we would own a Goldie when the sad day arrived, it was a long wait as `Batty` lived to the grand age of 17!!

Then after a good search , Sophie came along and she has lived up to the wonderful reputation that the breed carries.

We then decided to breed but we wanted to have our own dog to use and that is how Freddie came into our lives and from there on is history.....

We bought Freddie from a lovely lady, and he was given the best of starts, we remember going to see him at 11 weeks old and the breeder carried him round, even then he was a big boy......
If he had his way I think he would be carried now !!

Freddie had the most wonderful temperament with looks to match and the breeding is fabulous.

Sophie and Freddie created a fabulous line of our own. Some of which have gone off to be `Dogs for the disabled.

We are very privileged to supply directly to special families with children who need that little extra and our dogs are fulfilling a role second to none A guardian angel is how I describe them .

A true testament of our breeding.

Always with as much or as little lifelong support offered .

As a young dog, we took Freddie to gun dog training and he took to it very well although he is not from a working strain he still found it very exciting .

Freddie was such a special boy who has passed his special, caring temperament on to all of his puppies.

Cassie, who has also passed her gentleness on.
She is enjoying her senior years and has been a lovely granny and has given Hollie lots of her wisdom.
Freya has retired and enjoys playdates with Hollie and seeing 3 generations together makes me smile.

Sadly we lost Freddie suddenly July 21 it was a huge shock and left a very big hole in our life. Cassie missed him dreadfully, but with Hollies great outlook on life we were all kept on our toes and she brought us lots of giggles, and still does, with her mischievous ways!

She is carrying on with the family tradition!

Our dogs have always enjoyed the freedom we have at home getting up to mischief especially when I'm in the barn getting straw for my horses, they think its great fun to jump on the bale and then jump into the huge bag that i am filling!!
I get lots of help mucking out, they think horse poo tastes yummy ... They love sleeping next to the Aga never moving when I'm trying to cook and I never ask them I just lean over them !!!! Who is the boss here ??? The only problem is that they still think they are little and get up on your knee , not easy to watch the telly with a 35kilo dog on you !!
Well that is a short description to our wonderful family of Goldies
I welcome all enquiries and happy to chat about this amazing breed of dog.
All of our dogs have been fully health tested and results can be viewed via the Kennel Club website.
All are below the national guidelines

Thank you for reading about my lovely family of Goldies.
