I have owned dogs all of my life, I had my first Flatcoat, Mollie (Byeways Befair) in the late 90's This is where my love of the breed began.
We have now bred only a small number of Flatcoats & are extremely proud of the puppies we have bred. We breed for health and temperament primarily but also trying to stay true to type and the breed standard. We have had success in the show ring and they are also proving to be keen in the field now too.
The Wirehaired Dachshunds came into my life in 2007. Since then we have had a few litters and show regularly at Championship show level. We have won numerous classes, gained 4 Best of Breeds (Champ Show), 5CC, 5 RCC's.
We breed all of our dogs with health and temperament in the forefront of our minds. Our dogs are health tested for hereditary diseases. We also breed trying to keep our dogs as close to the breed standard as we can without losing our fabulous temperaments.
