***Kennel Club Assured Breeder***

We pride ourselves on breeding well balanced, very well socialised puppies that go to their new homes ready to become a well loved member of an active family.

We start with the basics, all our puppy parents are health tested to better than Kennel Club requirements. We pay particular attention to the hips and elbow scores of our girls and the selected stud to ensure we give our puppies the best chance of a healthy confirmation.

As a small breeder, we breed a maximum of one litter a year, our girls are much loved family pets who will live with us forever, long after they have finished having puppies, we do not rehome our spayed girls. Our girls do not have a litter until they are at least 2 years old ensuring they are mature and ready to be a mother.

We have invested in formal puppy socialisation programs Puppy Culture and New Born to New Home to ensure we do everything we can to ensure the health and development of our puppies when they are with us. From Early Scent Introduction and Early Neurological Stimulation through to toilet training, crate training, traveling and sound desensitiation we work through puppies' developmental markers to expose them to appropriate experiences and stimulation. We work with our potential families to expose puppies to specific experiences that might be relevant to that family for example perhaps you have horses or perhaps you live near an airport. If there is something specific you need your puppy to be comfortable with let us know and we will establish an appropriate training approach with you.

Our dogs love being active, we do gundog training for fun and the girls love being out for the day on the hills. Some of our puppies have gone on to do agility as well. At home they are on the sofa relaxing showing off that famous cuddly labrador character.

We have a lovely independent vet who helps us care for our pregnant girls and completes a full health test on all our puppies before they go home. We provide a comprehensive puppy pack with all our dogs. These packs provide guidance that allows you to continue our socialisation program at home as well as advice on how to maintain the health of your dog particularly around weight management and joint health, 2 areas of particular focus for the Labrador breed. We are in touch with all our previous families and can provide references on request. We operate whatsapp groups for litters allow us to offer ongoing support and just share news of the puppies throughout their life.
