We have been dedicated breeders since 1983, specializing in Golden Retrievers, Flat-Coated Retrievers, and Curly-Coated Retrievers. Our dogs live as part of the family, with two Golden Retrievers and two Flat-Coated Retrievers currently in our home. Over the years, we’ve had great success in the show ring, including multiple Golden Retriever Champions and two top brood bitches who have contributed significantly to the breed.
We have exported dogs worldwide, many of whom have gone on to win multiple titles. Our stud dogs have produced top winners, including the top-winning bitch in Sweden and Ireland, as well as a Best of Breed winner at Crufts.

In addition to conformation showing, we’ve also dabbled in obedience, agility, and gun dog training, ensuring well-rounded, versatile dogs. Our journey into Flat-Coated Retrievers began in 2020 with a dog from the renowned Castlerock kennel. We were thrilled to qualify her for the stud book and have since bred her, keeping one of her puppies who has achieved success, winning BPIB at SKC and qualifying for Crufts.

As experienced breeders, we prioritize health, temperament, and breed type in all our breeding decisions. We carefully plan our litters and only breed occasionally. Our puppies are raised in the home with extensive socialization, ensuring they’re confident, well-adjusted, and ready for their new homes. Each puppy goes home with a package of supporting information, food samples, and insurance. We’re committed to offering lifelong support to all our puppy owners and love staying in touch for updates on how our pups are doing. We were Assured Breeders, until the scheme closed.

Penny is an international show judge and awards CC's in Golden, Curly Coated and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, and has recently been successful in the Eye for a Dog assessment run by the Kennel Club. Penny also works on several dog show committees and is the Breed Education Co-ordinator for Golden Retrievers.
