I have owned and bred Golden Retrievers for over 30 years. . I only breed when I wish to keep a puppy and to continue my line. All dogs are kept in the home and are bred for temperment and type.

I am a believer in my dogs being fit for purpose and therefore we work our dogs on local shoots as well as showing them at open and championship shows.

JACK (Creekside Sea Captain of Gwyngala)
Jack is now 10 years and has proved himself as a really all round dog.
He is still picking up. He is a born gundog and has won two game keepers classes at Crufts. He also has a Reseve CC in the show ring (qualifying her for Crufts for life) and has appeared in a BBC TV series which was screened last Christmas.

BREEZE ( Creekside Sea Breeze of Gwyngala) litter sister of Jack, both being grandchildren of our Evida Field Marshall ( now deceased). She has been a natural earth mother and enjoys a real zest for life. She also has a stud book number.

JESS (Gwyngala Going For Gold) Jess works on the shoot with Jack and is just as happy in the show ring. She obtained her stud book number this year. She will do anything for food!

BOB (Gwyngala Group Captain) is Jess's son. He has surpassed himself in the show ring and has obtained a junior warrant qualifying him for Crufts for life.
He Spent a brilliant season in the field and gained a place in his breed class at Crufts 2018. He has the sweetest of natures and is the Gwyngala Clown, constantly making us smile with his antics.
Unfortunately in July of 2018, he was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma in one of his hind legs and had to have it amputated. He is now 12 months post chemo and is doing well. He can still give the best cuddles and that's what's important.

GRACIE (Gwyngala Gentle Touch) is jointly owned by myself and Julie Beard ( with whom she lives) She is a full litter sister to Jess but from a different litter and again has a lovely sweet temperament.

This year we introduce Quinn (Denmarella Mr Bright Skies over Gwyngala). He is a whirlwind and if Bob was the family Clown, Quinn is every bit as funny!

He has hit the ground running in the show ring and has started his Gundog training. He is looking very promising indeed as a dual purpose dog.
