Polly (Msingi Sabriel)

We have successfully campaigned Polly, She’s a Crufts 2024 winner!!
She is an absolute joy to live with and such a sweet girl,everyone who meets her just adores her. She has the most fantastic temperament.

Nelly (Msingi Not On Your Nelly)

Nelly is our beautiful red wheaten girl. She hasn’t been shown a lot due to covid etc but when she has been out she’s done very well. She’s got the most amazing temperament and is such a character to live with!

Tabu (Msingi Tabula Rasa JW)

Tabu is our boy of the family. He is out of our beautiful Faze and by our Champion Axel. Tabu has the most kindest, friendliest nature. He has been very successfully shown and to date has 1 CC and 2 RDCC's, Best puppy in shows and Breed and BEST IN SHOW at The premier 2 day Cheshire County Show beating over 2000 dogs. He is a big sofa surfer these days.

Winnie (Msingi Dream A Dream)

Miss Winnie is the baby of the family with the heart of a lion. She isn’t phased by anything and takes every day in her stride and lives it like it’s her last! Beautiful inside and out. Coming to a show ring soon.

We are Alison and Stuart Pearce.Our affix is Msingi which in swahili means Genesis or beginnings. We got our first Ridgeback in 1994 and absolutely love the breed. We are owned by 4 Ridgebacks Tabu, Nelly, Polly and baby Winnie. Also our Cleveland Bay mare, an Arab cross mare and our daughters New Forest pony Joseph!!!! they are all our furry children but we also have a grown up son and a grown up daughter Morgan who has done a little Junior Handling. So a very busy family environment !!!
Although showing some of our dogs is quite a large part of our lives it is second to us all just being a family,our dogs are dogs and enjoy nothing better than just running free over fields and swimming in rivers,lakes and even dirty puddles!!!!
