Palmonas

We live with our canine family in the outskirts of Sunderland close to the River Wear. Our dogs are family pets and live in the house with us. As such, they are used to children of all ages and they are well socialised. Our dogs have below average hip scores.

At present we have 2 golden retriever girls - Lola and Fionn and a pup which we kept from Fionn's litter called Chase (Palmonas Man of the World).

Lola (Alibren Attraction for Palmonas) is 9 years old and the matriarch of the family. She is a real show off and really loves being the centre of attention. She was shown when she was younger but now just enjoys chilling out at home.

Fionn (Largymore Santa Fina among Palmonas) is 5 years old and has done really well in the show ring. She gained her Junior Warrant at 11 months giving her her stud book number with lifetime qualification for Crufts. She has since gone on to achieve 4 RCC's before having her 1st litter in 2014. Fionn is very loving with bags of personality. She has a clear eye certificate and a hip score of 3:6 with 0 elbows. She is also PRA1 and PRA2 clear. Fionn has shown that she has brains as well as beauty by gaining her Show Gundog Working Certificate. This was a new venture for us but Fionn and I are really enjoying taking part in the working side of things.

From Fionn's first litter we kept a beautiful dog Chase (because he used to to chase the mop and the hoover when we were cleaning). He has fulfilled his early promise by gaining his Junior Warrant and is following his mother footsteps by achieving well in the show ring.

Our dogs have gentle and loving temperaments typical of the breed and they give us a lifetime of pleasure and unconditional love. In return they are loved to bits and spoilt rotten by all the family, young and old alike.

Because we want the best for our puppies all prospective owners will be vetted so that I can be confident that the puppies will be going to suitable loving and forever homes. All prospective owners are required to visit us and our canine family in our home environment to see our dogs and puppies before we say yes.
