I had my first dog, an Irish Setter named Tara, with a definite mind of her own and a passion for rolling in cow pats, when I was in my twenties. I became involved in showing and at a show saw my first Maltese and became totally captivated by this delightful, beautiful breed. Soon after I was lucky enough to have Bonnie join us, an enchanting little Maltese puppy , full of character, who bustled around keeping everyone in order, thinking nothing of standing up to a Great Dane or seeing off a fox from our garden. These two beautiful and personality plus dogs became an inextricable and much loved part of my life. Almost inevitably really showing and breeding followed until family circumstances intervened and regretfully I had to curtail this part of my life for a while. I am delighted to have Maltese and Irish back in my life again - although who owns who is debatable! Recently Havanese also have become a part of our home and lives - amusing, captivating, curious, extremely loving, endlessly playful, delightful family dogs - they are definitely addictive and it is certainly true that 1 Hav is never enough!

My daughter has had an interest in animals since her very early years and has loved and cared for a large number and variety of pets; now an Amichien trained dog behavourist herself, I count myself very fortunate in having her ongoing interest, support and encouragement in all aspects of our lives with our dogs.

I have great respect for the efforts and integrity of the breeders who have sought, and still continue to strive for, the maintenance of breed type and good health of each of our breeds. I hope to be able to follow in their footsteps and maintain their standards in my own breeding and showing efforts. In furtherance of this aim we are current members of breed clubs and adhere to their Code of Ethics. We very occasionally have puppies available but to first class, vetted, suitable homes only .
