My family and I have owned miniature dachshunds for many years and we currently have two bitches, Maisie, aged two and Tilly aged twelve. My extended family including grandparents have had dachshunds for almost one hundred years! We love them! Our dogs are a huge part of our family life and they enjoy taking a daily walk in the countryside or beaches near our home. We rarely breed from our dogs and so when we do they are particularly special.
