I have owned and shown dobermanns for almoist 30 years. I bred my first litter in 2009 and the male I kept (Bel, Neth Ch Grafmax Louis Armstrong ShCM RL3Ex - Satchmo) has been incredibly successful, including winning BOB at Crufts 2013 and being the first UK dobermann to get to level 3 at Rally. His whole litter lived till at least 11.

Satchmo (Bel, Neth Ch Grafmax Louis Armstrong ShCM RL3Ex) was BOB at Crufts 2013 and shortlisted in group. He was also Belgian Winner 13 and Amsterdam Winner 13 as well as BIS at the Dobermann Club in September 2013. He is a champion in Belgium and Holland. In the UK, he had 1 CC, 4 RCC, over 80 class wins, 35 BOB, 2 BIS and 1 RBIS. He started competing in Rally in 2016 and qualified RL3Ex - the first UK dobermann to achieve this. He was vWD clear, hips 5:4 and PHPV clear. He tested clear of DCM multiple times. Both his parents lived to over 11 and had no signs of heart disease or cancer. He thus had his 'Bred for Longevity' certificate. He and his siblings also lived to at least 11.

Velvet (Ch Taevas Black Velvet at Grafmax JW ShCM) joined the Grafmax family in September 2013 and has done me proud. She gained the first Benelux Junior Winner title at Rotterdam show in Sept 2013. She was a UK champion, having won 3 CCs (two with BIS/BOB) and 3 RCCs, all under breed specialists. She won her 1st CC & BIS out of 110 entries at Scottish Dobermann Club in 2015 under Serbian judge Rade Vesic. She won her last RCC at almost 9 years of age. She was vWD clear, hips 4:4 and PHPV clear. She last tested clear of DCM in May 2022. She is the dam of the Fab Four and Shakespeare litters.

Peppe - Grafmax Sergeant Pepper - was from the first of two litters by Ringo out of Velvet. He and his litter sister Grafmax Lucy in the Sky were born in September 2019 and started their show careers in 2021. Both have multiple wins and their UK stud book numbers, giving them lifetime Crufts qualification. They are both vWD clear by parentage and PHPV clear and had several clear heart tests.

Ringo (Ch Grafmax Roberto Alagna JW) is owned by Sylvia Wilcox and handled by Jay Kershaw and myself. He gained his first CC at 13 months and was a UK champion by 19 months of age. He now has 5 CCs and 2 RCCs. He is a substantial male and sired his first litter by the UK bitch breed record holder, Ch/Ir Ch Jojavik Poison Ivy JW ShCM amongst other litters, including two from my Velvet.
